Company Values and Operating Principles:
The following principles and values define Aaron Roberts Home Improvements.
It is our intention that no matter how large the company grows, that these
values will be continually revisited, and stringently adhered to, by us and
by all of our future employees, suppliers, and subcontractors:
- We will strive for the Highest
Quality in our work: Do the job right the first time, using the correct
materials, according to industry standard practices. No short cuts, even if
the work will be hidden from sight.
- We will stand behind our work: For an agreed upon period of time following
the completion of a job, if something goes wrong as a result of a mistake that
we made, we will resolve the issue at no cost to the customer. If the problem
is due to a manufacturers product or a subcontractor's work, we will assist
the customer to whatever extent possible in obtaining an acceptable resolution
according to the manufacturer's or subcontractor's warranty.
- We will treat people with kindness, respect, Honesty, and fairness:
People will not be taken advantage of, even if it would mean more profit for
us. If there is a less expensive solution to a problem, that solution will be
suggested. We will strive to provide a complete, unbiased view of our industry,
and our competition to enable our customers to make the best decision for their
particular situation. We will not pretend to know the answer if we do not, but
rest assured that we will find out what the right answer is. If we make a mistake,
we will admit it and attempt to make it right. We will be friendly and kind
to all we come in contact with, regardless of how they are treating us.
- We will play by the rules: We will not accept large cash jobs to avoid paying taxes. We will not offer or accept bribes. We will obtain building permits and inspections when required, and will always be covered by all required insurance.
- We will operate a clean, efficient company: We will constantly seek
ways to streamline our operations and avoid waste. We will not perform useless
tasks simply because "its always been done that way". We will be friendly
and responsible to the environment by not spilling or burying hazardous items,
and by using fuel and natural resources such as water and lumber only to the
extent required to do our job correctly.
